Hello everyone, I’m Tina Joy, The Yoga Nutritionist!
A native New Yorker, born in Queens, currently residing in Manhattan, Tina spent years studying classical ballet, lyrical, and modern dance. She recalls, “I loved to dance since as far back as I can remember, starting classes at the age of 3.”
Coming to a crossroads, learning to navigate life after stepping away from a career in finance and ending a relationship, she sought to lean into her emotions, rather than avoid them. Finding comfort & peace on the mat, she looked to deepen her yoga practice.
I have long been interested in living a healthy lifestyle and learning about the way our bodies move. Influenced by my teachers, peers, and most importantly, friends and family, I was drawn to yoga for its many healing benefits.
While specializing in Vinyasa, Pranayama, & Restorative techniques - RYT 500, Tina Joy is also a Wellness Coach & Certified Nutritionist through Cornell University.
My purpose is to create a healing and safe space, to help others tune in to their own comfort and peace, through their yoga practice. I aim to welcome and support all, leading an engaging and empowering practice!
